What exactly is a llama badge?
A llama badge is basically exactly as it sounds, it is a deviantART badge in the form of a llama.
How many people can I give a llama badge to?
You can give out as many llama badges as you wish, but you can only give one per deviant. This means once you give a deviant a llama badge, you cannot give them a second one.
How do I get llama badges?
The best way is to be an active member of deviantART. The more you interact with others, the higher the chance you will receive a llama badge. You can also post comments here on our group page requesting llama badges as well or use ~llamatrade to buy llama badges.
What is the purpose of llama badges?
They are just something fun for the deviantART community. They are a way to thank someone for a favorite, comment, critique, pageview, and whatever else you can imagine! They are a wonderful way to opening up meeting new deviants and interacting with them.
How do I give/return a llama
First, go to the deviants page that you wish to give a llama badge to. On the top right corner of their profile page you will see a button labeled "Give." Click this button and a drop down menu will appear and a menu option to give a llama will be listed. Click "Give A Llama" and from there follow the pop-up box directions.
If I give someone a llama badge, will I lose the ones I have collected?
No.
How do I hide my llama badge?
Go to your badge page and hover your mouse over your llama badge. A small red X will appear in the top right corner. Click the small red X and it will hide your badge. This will not reset the amount of badges you have been sent or have received.
How do I unhide my llama badge?
Go to your badge page. Under "Other Badge" you will see your hidden llama badge. Click the badge and drag and drop it into the area above where your visible badges are.
My llama badges are gone, what do I do?
You may have accidentally hidden them, but they are not gone. Please read How do I unhide my llama badge? to understand how to fix this.
How can I choose which llama badge I want to display on my badge area?
If you have a certain type of llama badge and which to display a different llama badge form, you must first have already reached the required amount to unlock that badge version. Go to your badge page and click on your llama badge. From there on the right side, it will display which badges you have acquired. Click the name of the badge you want to display.
Can I customize my llama badge?
Yes, to a certain extent. You can purchase a bow tie or sun glasses for your llama badge. Each of these accessories cost 80
.bDeviantART says I cannot send anymore llama badges, why?
Due to the use of bots to send out llama badges at an inhuman rate and the issues it caused to the dA servers, a limitation timer was placed on how often you could send out a llama badge. You've simply triggered the timer and will simply have to wait for five to fifteen minutes before you can return to giving out llama badges.
What is the maximum amount of llama badges you can have?
100,001. This is the highest amount I have seen.
What is the maximum amount of llama badges you can send?
Currently, there seems to be no limit.
