This journal is meant to specifically answer frequently asked questions regarding this group's monthly giveaways. Frequently Asked Questions
● Do I have to be a member of GiveALlamaGetALlama to participate?
○ No, any deviant that is not blocked by the group may participate.
● How can I participate in the monthly giveaway?
○ You simply need to favorite the giveaway journal and you will be counted as a participant.
● How are the winner selected?
○ We use a Random Number Generator to select a number. When a deviant favorites the giveaway journal, their username is next to a number. If the random number matches, that deviant is selected as a giveaway winner.
Four deviants will be selected and from those four, each will be given a new number, then the RNG will be used to select the winner for the Premium Membership prize.
● Who can win?
○ Any deviant who is not blocked by the group and meets the giveaway requirements.
● Why must an account be at least six-months old?
○ We feel it is unfair for a new account to win a premium membership when deviants who have been on this site for years have never had a premium membership. This also helps discourage deviants from creating new accounts to increase their chances of winning by joining on multiple accounts.
● What if this account I have now is under six months, but I have another account is more than six months, can I still win?
○ No. Only the account you favorite the journal with can win.
● If I win, can I give the prize to a friend?
○ No. The prizes will only go to those who favorited the giveaway journal. The prizes of the giveaway are meant for those who want them for themselves. You can encourage your friends to favorite the journal to join as a participant.
● Why must I have given at least 500 llama badges?
○ We are a group based solely around the trading of llama badges. We previously did not have this requirement, but recently came to the conclusion it should be included as a requirement (just as with our featuring system) to reward those who do trade llamas equally. We believe dedicated llama traders will appreciate this new requirement.
● Why must I have given more llama badges than received?
○ Again, we are a group based on the equal exchange/trading of llamas. This new requirement is to take us closer to being that sort of group even in our giveaways. We require the same amount for those who wished to be featured, why shouldn't it be included for this as well?
● Can we have points instead?
○ No. We will only be giving the cake badge or premium membership, we will not exchange the prize for points.
